Birthday Parties.

We offer 2 hours of exploration, mud and fun @ Kingmoor Nature Reserve, Carlisle. Free play, games and guided activities.

All of our parties follow a child led approach with endless free play and resourced exploration opportunities. They can dance under the shelter, splash in the mud pit, swing in the hammocks, balance on the slackline, paint a mud picture, hunt for bugs, explore the undergrowth and run 'wild'!

Including ONE guided activity of your choice (optional): 

 

• Fire lighting workshop (5+)
• Den building
• Tie Dye  (Additional £10 to cover resources)

 

Every party ends at our fire area with a fire snack, choose from:

 

• Popcorn popped on the fire
• Toasted Marshmallows
• Smores - Chocolate biscuits, with a toasted marshmallow sandwiched in between! (Additional 30p per child)
• Hot Dogs (additional £3 per child)

 

Drinks including hot chocolate, water and milk are provided. Parents/Carers are welcome to bring party food, cake and any additional drinks they would like.

Themes

If your child has a specific passion, let us know and we can work together to theme the party for them. We regularly get requests for:

• Unicorns, Butterflies and Fairies
• Dinosaurs

Costs:

2 hour party - £110 for up to 10 children, £11 per additional child after that. 

 £50 deposit is required in advance to secure the booking.

* Applies to Parties booked from April 2025* Our costs have increased slightly to reflect the current economic climate.

We require parents to organise appropriate supervision ratios among the party attendees. Minimum of 1 adult to 5 children. This ratio does not include Forest School staff.

"We absolutely loved our forest school party! We had kids there from ages 4 up to 10, and all were so happy with the variation of activities on offer, it was perfect. It was magical stepping into the woods and following the signs for the short walk to where the party was set up. Josie welcomed us all and was fantastic at explaining what was set up for the kids to get involved with, in a friendly and organised way. It was icy with minus temperatures but apart from a few chilly toes I think it was a perfect day for a stomp in the woods.
